Course OverviewThis training is designed to give those with people handling skills an underpinning knowledge of health and safety legislation and current moving and handling principles to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to train staff in the workplace.

Who Should AttendThis course is designed for people who work in health and social care services, charities or education and is aimed at those who already have people handling skills. It is also suitable for managers who have little or no experience of the delivery of moving and handling training but have the responsibility for monitoring, advising and managing staff on moving and handling in the workplace.

- The falling/fallen person
- Use of wheelchair and other handling aids
Part one - Mulitchoice question paper manual handling (20 questions)
Part two - Mulitformat question paper people handling (20 questions)
Part three - Completion of manual handling risk assessment and practical teaching session, 15 minutes in duration.
