- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (Regulations 3 & 4)
- Risk Assessment hazard and risk (practical exercise)
- Safe Working Procedures
- Working at Height (selection and use of access equipment ladders, pop ups tower platforms and cherry pickers)
- Control of Asbestos at Work (asbestos register identifying asbestos and action required if found)
- Electricity at Work Regulations (PAT testing)
- COSHH (use of solvents and exposure to other hazards such as dust)
- Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (Ladders, tools vehicles etc)
- Personal Protective Equipment (selection and use)
- Noise & Vibration
- First aid at Work ( handout and discussion)
- Fire Reform Act (fire precautions to be established on site)
- Manual handling
